Years in print:
In 1867 William Bell began the publication of The Western Trade Journal, a weekly, devoted to commercial, agricultural and other interests. It passed into the hands of the Chambers Publishing Company less than two years later, and George W. Briggs became its editor. It was discontinued in the latter part of the [eighteen] eighties.
