Publication Name:

St. Louis Sun

Years in print:

The St. Louis Sun was started in St. Louis in 1845 by A.W. Scaritt. It appears to have had a brief existence, for a year later we find that the St. Louis Sun had been started to advertise the owner's "sugar-coated pills."
(From the History of St. Louis City and County by John Thomas Scharf, 1883).
